Become a Foster Hero

At DEEL Sighthound Rescue compassion meets action in the pursuit of giving sighthounds a second chance at life. Fostering is at the heart of what we do; providing temporary homes for these beautiful animals as they await their forever-families.

We would love for you to join us in our mission to make a difference for the hounds.

Why Foster?

Fostering a sighthound is more than just providing a temporary home; it’s about offering love, care, and stability to an animal in need. By opening your heart and home to a foster hound, you are playing a crucial role in their journey towards a brighter future. Fostering also allows us to rescue more hounds, as it frees up kennel space and enables us to continue our lifesaving work.

Are you ready to embark on a journey filled with wagging tails, slobbery kisses, and endless cuddles? If so, you’re in the right place. Open your heart to a furry friend in need and make a paw-sitive impact on their life.

  • What to Expect

As a foster parent with DEEL Sighthound Rescue, you’ll receive 24-hour support and resources you need to succeed. From veterinary care and food to training assistance and guidance, we’re here for you every step of the way. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that both you and your foster hound have a positive experience. Our hounds usually stay with their foster family between 4-8 weeks until they are going to their fur-ever homes.

  • Making a Difference

Your contribution will help save lives and give these dogs the chance they deserve. Plus, there’s nothing quite as rewarding as seeing a once-neglected or abandoned dog thrive in a loving environment. By opening your heart and home, you not only provide a safe haven for these furry friends but also free up valuable space in the kennels, allowing us to rescue more animals in need. Each wagging tail and grateful gaze is a testament to the difference you will be making.
